About

PortMyMail is an independent publication about email marketing tools, focused on one practical question: what does it actually take — in steps, time and money — to move from one provider to another?

Guides are written from direct testing on free accounts wherever possible. Where a claim could not be tested, the article says so.

Some links on this site are affiliate links, which support the testing work at no extra cost to readers. See the Privacy Policy for the full disclosure.

Who runs PortMyMail

PortMyMail is written and operated by Junhyun Lee, an independent editor and sole proprietor based in South Korea. There is no agency and no content team behind the site: the person who runs the migration tests is the person who writes the guides.

Questions, corrections and migration requests are welcome at deepdive221111@gmail.com. If a guide got something wrong, we would rather hear it from a reader than leave it published.

How the testing works

Every migration covered here is performed first on live test accounts: we connect the two providers, run the official migration tool, and verify the result record by record – subscribers, custom fields, tags, groups and segments. Screenshots from the actual test runs appear in the articles themselves. The full method, with the findings from our first live migration, is documented in How we test email tool migrations.

How the site earns money

Some outbound links on PortMyMail are affiliate links. If you sign up for a tool through one of them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Commissions never change a test result: what a migration loses in transit is reported whether the destination tool pays us or not. Every article that contains affiliate links carries a disclosure at the top, and the Privacy Policy explains the arrangement in full.
